Bongo Java Roasting Co., established in 1993, is part of a small yet-world famous family of cafes and restaurants in Nashville, TN focused on expanding the definition of quality. Single-origin Peru decaf coffee that produces a delicious and well-balanced cup with notes of dried fruit and honey. Our decaf is made using a “Mountain Water Process,” which requires about 15 hours to remove caffeine without the use of chemical solvents. As with all of our coffees, it is 100% organically grown to produce a difference you can taste. The hard green coffee beans are softened and expanded by soaking them in water. Caffeine is extracted using a water-based solution saturated with solubles from the bean.
